Kenyan economy expected to grow in 2017


The Kenyan economy is expected to grow by between 5.4 and 5.7 per cent in 2017, supported by stability in the macroeconomic environment; which continues to be challenged by a weak shilling and declining credit to the private sector. Analysts at investment firm, Cytonn also say the government will be under no pressure to borrow domestically especially in the second half of the year, with equities expected to remain flat.
