Catalyst Principal Partners push for local pharmaceutical production

Local Sub-Saharan pharmaceutical manufacturers account for only 25-30 per cent of medical products, manufactured and used in the region. To meet the demand for quality medication and healthcare products and services from local production, private equity firm Catalyst Principal Partners has bought a majority stake in pharmaceutical manufacturer, Zenufa, valued between $5 million and $20 million under its $125 million Catalyst Fund I fund.
